This special episode is about the newest offering of Microsoft’s AI efforts and specifically focused on Microsoft 365 copilot.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a new feature that combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with your data in Microsoft applications to turn your words into one of the most powerful productivity tools on the planet. It works alongside you, embedded in the Microsoft 365 apps you use every day, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more, to help you unleash creativity, unlock productivity, and level up skills.
With Copilot, you can give natural language prompts and get intelligent assistance in real time. For example, you can ask Copilot to draft a project proposal based on some data sources, summarize a document, rewrite a paragraph, or change the tone of your writing. You can also use Copilot in a new experience called Business Chat, where you can chat with Copilot across your data and apps to do things like creating status updates, scheduling meetings, or finding information. Copilot is designed to work with your organization’s data securely and privately. It respects your permissions policies and admin controls, and it follows the same security, privacy, compliance, and data residency standards as Microsoft 365.
Artificial intelligence is the most powerful tool we have available for business productivity. The technology is still so new we’ve only just now started to integrate the tools into our daily lives. For instance, I used AI to help write parts of this episode which allowed me to take much less time out of my day. If we continue to harness AI technology, we could see less stress and more time with what’s really important in life.Look out for our regular weekly episode discussing the differences between local Active Directory and cloud Active Directory.
